The College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized training workshop titled "Explanation of Quality Requirements and Documents ISO 19011:2018 and Internal Auditing." This comes as part of its efforts aimed at enhancing the culture of quality and developing institutional performance.
The workshop, presented by the Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, Asst. Lect. Ahmed Sabih Abdul Aboud, included a detailed review of the requirements of the international standard ISO 19011:2018, and the mechanisms for preparing documents for quality systems. It also covered internal auditing methodologies, their importance in improving performance, and ensuring compliance with approved standards.
The workshop witnessed the attendance of a number of teaching staff and employees, who interacted with its themes through scientific discussions and practical applications aimed at consolidating quality concepts and enhancing the participants' skills in the field of internal auditing. It came as part of a series of training programs that our university is keen to implement, in support of academic accreditation pathways and the development of quality systems, in alignment with approved ministerial and international standards.
